Despite my initial journey immigrating to the United States when I was four, it wasn't as hard as what was to come for the rest of my life. I never felt out of touch with my Filipino heritage as it was something my mother heavily emphasized growing up. She ensured that not only would I know my culture, but I would know the language just as well as if I had grown up there.

But growing up in America still wasn't the dream that I was told it would be. My father stayed in the Philippines where he passed away when I was nine. It ultimately changed my whole life knowing that I had spent majority of my life away from the best man I knew. After his passing, it changed my outlook on life: how I handled challenges and obstacles, and how I managed relationships (familial, platonic, and romantic). It was what inspired me to write; initially, as a cathartic release which soon became my passion.

I majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organization & Management. My education and experience in both California and London influenced my style and aesthetic that shaped my brand and reaffirmed my love for travel. Being able to experience another world from my own allowed my imagination to grow for what I would write and for what I would design.
